Mnikelo Mangciphu owns Soweto’s only wine boutique, Morara Emporium, and is co-founder of the township’s wine festival. He is enjoying Avondale La Luna 2006 (R300).

“This is a special-moment wine, as reflected by the price. An incredible Bordeaux blend with a velvety texture and very soft tannins. It has ripe fruit flavours, mostly plum and raspberries. A glass of this with a rib-eye steak for dinner would be a perfect ending to my day.”
