Clive Aaron – a professional chef for the past 12 years – is currently enjoying the global trend of pop-up eateries and foodie experiences. Clive’s pop up restaurant, a concept which is well-suited to the Durban market, allows diners to freely mingle and interact with the Chef and fellow foodies in a manner that a formal restaurant-setting doesn’t permit.
After completing his training at Christina Martin School of Food and Wine, Clive interned with Kim Williamson at ‘aka Restaurant”. He now runs his own restaurant called EatMe Gourmet Café, a modern South African Bistro-style in Durban. He subsequently worked in food and wine pairing in hotels before running his company focused on catering upmarket private functions.
