We are off to a strong start in 2015, with the year’s first new listings of Avondale’s extraordinary wines at some of the most celebrated South African restaurants.  Look out for Avondale on the wine lists of these fantastic establishments:

Bistro Michel – We’re very proud that Avondale’s delicious Chenin Blanc, Anima makes its debut on the winelist of this exciting new eatery of Michel Morand, one of Jozi’s most well-known and well-loved chefs.  Bistro Michel has opened in Bistro the Bluebird Shopping Centre, just off Corlett Drive, and a few minutes away from the Melrose Arch precinct.

 The Test Kitchen – Luke Dale Robert’s restaurant at the Old Biscuit Mill in Woodstock, Cape Town is one of the country’s most acclaimed establishments, and was recognised as the ‘Eat Out Restaurant of the Year’ in 2014.  Famous for delivering completely out of the ordinary food and wine experiences, it is a delight that Sommelier, Wayve Kolevsohn has listed Camissa, Avondale’s gorgeous Blanc de Noir.

Burrata – Another award-winning restaurant at the Old Biscuit Mill in Woodstock, Burrata is highly valued for its Italian-inspired fare with a flair for the exciting and unexpected.  Owner, Neil Grant and Sommelier, Spencer have listed Avondale’s Anima on their well-appointed wine list.
