The narratives that food evokes are very important to FABER’s Chef-Patron Eric Bulpitt.  He searches for fresh, seasonal and original ingredients; then toils and crafts in the kitchen to create dishes full of the stories that make us happy.  And now, FABER at Avondale has a new chapter in its story.  Eat Out has announced its nominees for SA’s top restaurants in their 2017 Mercedes-Benz Awards, and FABER has made the list.  “We are privileged to be nominated alongside so many amazing restaurants and Chefs,” says Eric, “Congratulations to all the nominees. The team and I have worked very hard to keep our standards and quality at the highest level and it is so rewarding to be recognized for our efforts.”

FABER, situated on Avondale’s premium organic Paarl wine farm, is a progressive South African restaurant celebrating the passion for handcrafting food and wine that is authentic and evocative.

FABER is open for lunches from Wednesday to Sunday, and for dinners from Thursday to Saturday.
