Avondale held a Media Launch for its Extraordinary Festive Food & Wine Pairing on Wednesday 14th November at the Chef’s Warehouse in Cape Town. It was a cosy, intimate affair with only a small number of journalists invited for a sneak preview of the tasting experience on offer to guests at the farm over the festive period.
Johnathan began by welcoming the guests and explaining what the Festive Pairing was, and how the partnership with Chef Reuben came about. Chef Reuben then took centre stage to explain the inspiration behind the pairings, modestly claiming that the menu was a collaboration between all parties involved.
Guests were delighted with the delectable treats prepared for them and the perfect harmony between fine food and wine. Some of the feedback on Twitter was:
