Chef-patron, Eric Bulpitt and his team are experiencing their first spring on the Avondale Estate. Inspired by the bounty of fresh ingredients the change of season is bringing, they’re in the mood to celebrate with a delicious new refined dining menu and innovative events. Apart from the Spring Field to Feast luncheon @ FABER, on Sunday, 17th September, you can look forward to a fired-up Heritage Day Family Feast. That’s on Sunday, 24 September, and in line with the ‘braai day’ tradition, open fire cooking is the special feature of the 8-course sharing menu that is designed for the whole family. You can expect a relaxed atmosphere and a delightfully informal dining experience that is completely child-friendly. The 8-course Heritage Day Family Feast costs R395.00 per person and you can book now via email to faber@avondalewine.co.za or call 021 202 1219.
We’re also giving you an exclusive sneak-peak here for an off-the-charts dining event featuring FABER – the Four Coursemen Collaboration Series is a Winelands spring celebration involving four events, four establishments, four chefs and four courses. From September to November, each restaurant will host a four-course dinner, prepared in collaboration with each chef presenting a course while the host chef delivers the mains. This is going to be mad fun! To get the latest Four Coursemen Collaboration Series news follow FABER on Facebook.
FABER’s Spring times are:
Lunch: Wednesday to Sunday 12h00 – 15h00
Dinner: Thursday to Saturday 18h30 – 21h00
