Nature of Africa
A rainbow flashes across a storm-drenched sky over Kagga Kamma… An early morning mist shrouds a line of Mozambican women… A languid, elegant leopard strolls over the hot, dry sands Kgalagadi Trans Frontier Park… A statuesque Goliath Heron is etched on a gun-metal grey sky…
These are a few of the evocative images of Africa’s birds and mammals, people and places in Tim Gibson photographic exhibition now on at the Avondale Estate. Tim’s life-long love of Nature and travel in Africa are clearly evident in this collection of 18 peacefully composed, artfully balanced and expertly photographed images. The works range in price from R850 to R950 per piece.
Tim photographed many of the works on this show during an epic 12 600 kilometre journey that started in Cape Town and ranged through South Africa, Mozambique, Tanzania, Malawi and Botswana.
