Over the past six years, La Luna Dinners have become a hallmark Avondale experience for our club members, and we’re delighted to host the 2017 event at FABER on the 5th of August.  The La Luna Dinner takes place on the night of the August full moon when the light and energies of our planet’s natural satellite are at their brightest and boldest.  It’s the perfect backdrop to a sensational celebration of refined dining and extraordinary wines.  Chef Eric Bulpitt and his team will be crafting a six course La Luna with a focus on the best of the season’s ingredients harmonized so that each course pairs exquisitely with a particular handcrafted, slow-made Avondale wine.  Avondale’s proprietor, Johnathan Grieve will guide guests through the evening, sharing his fascinating stories of how Avondale uses science, organic and biodynamic practices to create a vibrant living system that is perfectly attuned to the rhythms of the cosmos.

The 2017 La Luna Dinner will take place at FABER at Avondale on 5th August from 19h00.

Costs inclusive of the six course dinner and wine pairings is R1200 per person.
